Tension exploded live on air — and not even the cameras could hide it. In a chaotic moment on The View, co-host Ana Navarro lost her cool when a CNN analyst suddenly brought up the issue of crime among illegal immigrants. The atmosphere on set froze — Ana jumped up, her voice trembling but angry: “You can’t lump them all in the same bag!” The audience erupted, Whoopi stared back at the camera, while the guest calmly replied: “I’m talking about numbers, not people.” At that moment, the set exploded. Ana slammed her hand on the table, interrupted, fighting back tears as she insisted that “she knows the pain of immigrant families better than anyone.” A crew member recalled: “Nobody dared to breathe. The emotion was so real that everyone was stunned.” The scene wasn’t just about political debate — it was about the collision of prejudice, pride, and deep pain shared by millions of people. And when the show took a commercial break, the microphone was still on… capturing the exact five words Ana whispered after sitting down — five words that viewers watched the clip a million times over

“The View” co-host Ana Navarro shouted down a “CNN NewsNight” panelist who mentioned criminal illegal immigrants Tuesday night, falsely claiming that many of those detained are not criminals.

United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities in Chicago and Portland, Oregon, have been the scene of multiple riots as opposition to the agency’s operations targeting illegal immigrants intensifies. Former Texas Republican Party finance chair Hal Lambert disputed corporate media coverage of ICE operations before Navarro interrupted.

“No, it’s not what the media would like you to believe. We see it every day. If there was Tren De Aragua, there would be evidence that there was Tren De Aragua. If there were criminals, there would be evidence there were criminals. You know what there is evidence of?” Navarro asked with Lambert saying, “There is evidence,” before Navarro cut him off.

“No, there is evidence that the majority of people who have been grabbed are people without criminal records. And many of them have become undocumented because TPS has ended, because programs that made them legal here have ended. So don’t tell me —” Navarro said before Lambert said, “Biden opened the border —”

The Border Patrol encountered millions of illegal immigrants during the Biden administration, according to figures released by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), many of whom were released into the United States.

“You can say whatever the hell you want about the border, but don’t come here and lie about most of them being criminals, because that is simply false,” Navarro claimed.

“You’re making it the sympathetic argument, but —” Lambert said before Navarro interrupted with, “No, I’m not making the sympathetic argument. I am making the factual argument. The majority of the people who have been grabbed and detained, deported, disappeared, are people without criminal records.”

“You don’t have the stats on that either. But I‘m just going to say this —” Lambert said before Navarro again cut in, saying, “Go look it up. Go look it up. CNN has reported the stats.”

Border czar Tom Homan told Fox News host Harris Faulkner he reviewed data on ICE operations during a Sept. 25 appearance on “The Faulkner Focus.”

“Every morning, when I’m on my way to the White House, I look at 22 pages of data that shows exactly what ICE has done the last 24 hours. Here’s what the data says: 70%, right about 70% of everybody ICE arrests is a criminal,” Homan told Faulkner during the appearance a day after a shooting at the ICE office in Dallas on Sept. 24. “Who are the other 30%? Many of them are national security threats that we found… Many of them are final orders, people who had due process… and the judge ordered them removed, we have to remove them, the law requires. Then, finally, the collaterals. Ones we are not looking for because we’re forced into the community. I read it every day.”
