Oh man! We’ve got some drama cooking up between ESPN and OutKick!
It’s being reported by OutKick’s Clay Travis that ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum has been removed by the four-letter network after he said he was interested in a run for the U.S. Senate.
The news from OutKick went on to be confirmed by On3’s Pete Nakos, backing up the report that Finebaum isn’t making appearances on ESPN-branded networks at the moment. During Sunday’s edition of “SportsCenter,” Finebaum wasn’t on as he usually is in the morning to speak about what happened in college football the day prior.
With that being said, ESPN PR vice president Bill Hofheimer took to Twitter and responded to Travis’ post in a quote-tweet, saying that the report is “TOTALLY FALSE.” (RELATED: Bill Belichick Getting Lit Up Like Christmas Tree After UNC Social Media Team Seemingly Defies Him)
Despite not being on “SportsCenter,” Finebaum did make a weekend appearance on the YouTube show of ESPN host Matt Barrie.
Aaaaand we’re off! *eats out of my bucket*
