The case stemmed from an October 2024 crash in Franklin, Tennessee, where Cutler allegedly rear-ended another vehicle while intoxicated. Court records say he offered the other driver $2,000 to avoid calling police, according to TMZ.

The driver, Perry Lee, has since filed a lawsuit claiming the crash left him with lasting injuries and ongoing pain.
Cutler played 12 seasons in the NFL — three with the Denver Broncos, eight with the Chicago Bears, and one with the Miami Dolphins before retiring in 2017. He was previously married to reality television star Kristin Cavallari.
Cutler has not publicly commented on the case.
